Reeled Composite Pipe
Supplied on reels for continuous, low-joint installation.
FRP, GRP, HDPE, PVC and PP piping that resists corrosion and outperforms unreinforced pipe on strength, weight and installation cost.
Composite pipes are made from a variety of thermoplastics: fibre-reinforced plastics (FRP), glass reinforced plastics (GRP), high-density polyethylene (HDPE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and polypropylene (PP).
Because of the materials used, these pipes resist corrosion and have stronger mechanical properties than unreinforced pipe. They are better able to resist the forces applied during installation, and lighter than metal pipe, making them easier — and therefore less expensive — to install.
Reinforced thermoplastic piping systems are more cost-effective than either metallic pipe or non-reinforced thermoplastics. Advances in composite materials have made them a viable alternative to metal across a range of applications.
Supplied on reels for continuous, low-joint installation.
Stainless steel carcass, polymer fluid barrier, pressure and tensile armour, anti-wear tapes and external sheath.
